In a state of blog flux

I’m not sure what to do with you, Debanter.

Twelve months ago I wrote…and I wrote and wrote and wrote. Sure, there were lulls. Quiet periods where inspiration waned…but this is different.

I’m not so satisfied with random these days. Which is weird, because I used to tease others (such as my darling husband) for being to narrow in their focus…

It doesn’t help that in the last few weeks I’ve been straying from my old blog friend with a shiny new friend, Drinks After Dark. Co-written with the smart and sassy Colleen Coplick from Vancouver, we’re taking on the world of alcoholic beverages because…well, someone’s got to do it.

I’m having a blast in pretty much every aspect of my life. Which sounds awfully close to gloating, eh? But it’s the truth, so there it is. There’s so much going, people I want to see and stuff I can’t wait to do…that random just isn’t going to cut it for me anymore.

So what do I write about?

Not sure yet. I’ve got some ideas…I thought about copping out and just posting my random photos. Not that photoblogs are cop outs…just that mine would fall into that category since I’ve neither a fancy camera nor much of a knack for taking truly interesting photographs.

Things will likely still be a little random…and probably still pretty quiet…while I try to figure out my next step. I’ll get there – just another one of those life transition things.
