I can't say that I mind that much - living in Bradford was like being in some sort of seasonal nexus. Weather systems that affected Barrie and Toronto both seemed to miss, so it was generally pretty mild and uneventful.

...to the point where it was a wonder to get snow before Christmas at all. You know? One of those last minute will-it-or-won't-it sort of deals on Christmas Eve.

At least right now it's snowy and pretty. Looking outside makes me yearn for the warmth of a duvet and a mug of hot chocolate. Can't complain about that.

Julie's farm is pretty much my idea of heaven. :-)

Out of all the places I lugged that camera around while back in Toronto, those fields really captured what I love about winter...even though we all know the non-picturesque parts are overall far more realistic.

Those photos are lovely. I wish it was like that here, even; London has been quite foggy and bleak the past few days. Sure, there's snow around, but it's the more inconvenient kind - the wispy, cover-the-road-so-you-can't-drive kind. Nothing picturesque, no sun, just grey.

Seasonal Affectives are dropping like flies.
