Sounds like somebody’s got a case of the Julys…

See that month by month link list of archives?

Notice anything missing?

That’s right. Subliminal or not, July is not the best month for me to blog. I have no idea why. I think of things. Posts still form in my head. But somehow the sun comes out and I want to go for a walk outside. Or…like right now…a kitten is rumbling softly on my chest, curled up all furry and cozy and I’m fighting putting my computer around just to sucumb to some glorious cuddles.

I’ve resorted to blogging about not-blogging, which isn’t very blogworthy. (However now July will appear in the archives for sure, so phase one of Operation Inspiration is complete!)

Work is also keeping my happily occupied. And the wedding is 43 whole days away. Yowza. I suppose I have reason for my lack of musings…but I could at least resort to some photos…? Or movie reviews…?

I’ll get going on that.

But first…

My favorite photo from our Sunday afternoon in Newport beach. I have no idea why the completely accidental abstractness of it all gives me goose bumps and a goofy little smile. But it does.

beachy goodness

I could probably carry on for a while about the symbolism and how it relates back to time flying by and love not always being perfect but somehow it works and remains beautiful…But since it’s July, I’ll just say “Thanks Jenn!” and get back to snuggling with sleepy kittens.

I really like that picture, and think it looks great as your header there. But, you probably shouldn’t hold too much stock in my words, cos I’m constantly coming under fire for liking blurry photos…
