Let me preempt everything I’m going to say here with this - I’m a newbie. I’m no industry veteran, I don’t have years in the business backing up my reactions or analysis of things, and I’m certain I’m not saying much that’s particularly profound.
But, some things must be shared. Even if the focus is on a relatively easy target.

My fish jumped out of his tank last week. One second he’s in there swimming around, the next second I thought that a salamander had crept up the stairs and planted himself next to my computer. I figured this was him telling me he needed a roomier place. More closet space, appliance upgrades.

His bubblenest (above his head) indicates he approves.

Okay, at least tries not to end them…or, oh I don’t know…cause seizures.

As much criticism as this logo has received, we’re talking about it, writing about it and minus the health risks, it’s unveiling has certainly not gone unnoticed. Seth Godin’s title ‘Actually it’s just a jaggy picture‘ has been my favorite so far…because it is, and that’s something anyone who’s taken a linguistics course or majored in communications/journalism can forget about. Eek. Almost 35%. Barely over the hump and onto the long tail…I’d be lying if I didn’t mention that I’m a tad disappointed in myself.

I have a solution in mind…better get back to writing requirements for it.

Seriously? Now we’re stringing Disney characters up and adding the audio “Help me! Help me!” in order to drive clickthrough?
