Yep, that group is where the photos came from...

See, and that's the quandry of it all - Jenny changes one of her details (congrats, by the way! I want details!) and the question becomes, do I message her to say that or do I wait until she mentions it in passing? It feels weird, but worth saying something about...no? And on the flip side, when bad news shows up like 'Mike no longer works for McDonalds' or "Tina's relationship just got complicated" I feel like I'm intruding, especially if I only know them semi-well...

There are pros, yes...but I was used to what it took to check for facebook updates...and I wasn't nearly as self conscious about any updates I might make or walls I might write on. It just feels...

creepy.

I didn't see what the big deal was at first, it's not like that information wasn't there to begin with. But then I changed one of my details....

Hmm... I was on Facebook and noticed in the News Feed that you joined the "Bring Back OLD Facebook" group.

Personally, I like it. They might want to tone down the relationship information and random useless shit that clutters up the front page, like what groups everyone joins and who their new friends are... but that being said I love being able to tell right away if any of my friends changed their status or posted new photos without having to stalk around everyones profiles on a regular basis.
