What I Learned This Weekend

1. Cardboard can be expensive. Very expensive.

2. Stories involving underwear in places that they shouldn’t be NEVER get old.

3. When cats get scared, they can shed. A lot. Apparently the ‘cat lady chic’ look, of fur on black, suits me…or was our vet joking?

4. I’d forgotten how nice it is when you’re car is clean enough that at least one person can squeeze into the back. Bonus goodness when two people are safely strapped in behind me.

5. Speaking of cars, next time your in the market, try calling the salesguy "crafty"…worked like a charm.

6. Nonfat Vanilla Cream at Starbucks…I went from "mmmmm" to addict in about two minutes.

7. I’ve lost the ability to get stressed out about this whole move. Until something happens that completely stresses me out, then it’s all over.

8. The eleventh reason to get off Facebook is that you’ve seen the 10 reasons to get off facebook list on someone else’s wall, before it makes it’s way to your own wall.

9. To get a pair of those ugly, unflattering leggings that were all the rage in the eighties and have somehow come back in fashion, it can set you back $40. I’m still laughing…gimme a minute…Okay, I’m done. For some of the fugliest examples of this fugstive apparal, there’s only one spot – Go Fug Yourself. The white patterned ones on Piper Perabo this week, well…they say it all.

10. When you turn food mentions and musings into an entire blog, with yummy lovely photos to boot…it’s a beautiful thing. Based on Robin’s blog, I’d move to New York simply for the scrumptuous meals (Note to Robin: your photos make even the things that didn’t go so well, like the avocado sammich, look good!!).

  1. Thanks for mentioning my blog! :) NYC is good for food, ooh yeaaah. Horrible for people who have no self control though…um. Hm. Yeah.

    …Wait, that’s me. CRAP.

Hey Angela, you might want to correct Rachel’s misspelling the word: scrumptious!

You’ll get another candy; get on it!

Rachel!! don’t pay a whole whack for boxes!! if you go to the no frills or the price chopper, you can get them for free!!

  2. *sigh* that would be a good plan, Ang…unfortunately movers want ‘regulation’ boxes. Otherwise I’d be all over that (IGA being conveniently right behind us…).

random, I often forget to spellcheck, oops. Ah well, so do you.

You can get used moving boxes at a place near by.
    Cheaper than new.
