On Magnet’s website, he has linked to one of my SXSW facebook albums. Amazing musician and he’s also watching the internet to see where he comes up (or at least someone from his camp is). Does it get any better??
I seriously suggest checking out his music, but you won’t get the full experience until you’ve seen him perform live. The words "enchanting" and "spellbinding" seems a little over-the-top-movie-critic but really it’s just an unforgettable/fantastic thing to witness.
Gee…this is now my third post in a row of doing things differently with the internet…is there a theme going on here?
Here’s some more photos that didn’t make the Facebook cut (I only have 60 photos that I can post per album, and a total of 3 and 1/2 albums dedicated to sxsw…so compromises had to be made before looking like a TOTAL obsess-o).
Fan for life? Without question. Will I be telling many many many people about this (thus driving a bit of traffic to his site and music)? You betcha.
Thanks Magnet!

Rachel!! I love hearing about your trip…I want to hear more details (albeit in person and when you can find the time, as i am sure you’re swamped with everything ;). And the pics are incroyable, ma cherie!!
Also, I happily second your nod to Magnet, he was definitely my favorite new find at the indie awards/stars show. Did he do the “wanna be in my band?” thing at SXSW?
Sadly, he did not. And you know what? I hyped up that part of his show soooo much in the booth before we went. “You put one hand in the air…” Yeah, I imitated the enTIRE thing for everyone. Multiple times.
This week and next week is CRAZY while I try to get some work done to finish up the term, but we should plan a group of us to get together next Friday, after I’m done with my last paper!!! Wooohooo!
