Well, as if I didn’t have enough silly things to occupy my time, here’s the newest one:
a 10 page test that tells me all about my personality, or personal DNA. Below is my personal DNA visualized…interesting…
I didn’t learn much about myself, although I apparently am on the low scale for "Authoritarianism" (I wonder if Adam would disagree…?) and am more into aesthetics than function (okay, maybe I did kinda expect that outcome…but you always hope that maybe you’re more practical than you think, right?).
I’m also fairly imaginative, have a great deal of extroversion and trust in others, and my openness and confidence are quite good too. I look like a pretty nice person on paper (or rather, on screen).

Found on Boing Boing, here’s something worth repeating. (Norm’s livejournal is here)
I love music, movies, and books. I also love technology. I want to use
technology to deliver the media I love anywhere, anywhen, with anyone.
This
is fair use: I bought it, let me use it. I will tell all my friends
about my favorite music. I might play it for them or even give them a
digital version of a song. This is evangelism, not theft. This is
advertising you cannot buy.
Restrictive copyright is like a
vegetarian knife. You bought the knife, but if you cut meat with it,
we’ll sue you. Excuse me? Let’s think again.
Well said.

Skype is offering Warner Bros. ringtones for $1.50 each. Gee, what will they think of next…*sigh*.
I can’t stand ringtones, and I really can’t understand why anyone would pay that much for something that only you are going to hear, at least for the most part. If ringtones are about personalization and showing off a piece of "you" to others…how does this relate?
Meh, crazy part is, there will be those out there who are aaaaaaaall over this.
