Le Sigh
January 23rd, 2006 RachelI’ve felt peer pressured into "modifying" my photo albums…though I’m sure those doing the pressuring already had some photos saved to their desktop as future incriminating evidence.
In honor of you…le sigh.

I dunno if the computer’s coming back from this last display of “powerlessness”. It’s purty ugly.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch…
I’m on a Mac for the next few days (at least) - hopefully my poor wee li’l tablet won’t be out of commission for too long.
Argh.
Inspired by Maryam Scoble, I already discussed why I love geeks on my now pretty well ignored msn space. After reading this story from The Post Money Value, I had to add one more reason why I adore geeks.
#11 - they have the self confidence to make a joke when they make a mistake or do something goofy. Yeah, sure, not every geek will always have their ego in check, but the ones that do are golden (and are a lot more fun).
And to echo Maryam - did you forget that they can fix your computer (and find documents you "loss" in a folder, and set up your blog, and show you how to work a digital camera/dvd player/scanner/etc, etc)???
Also, the way to their heart is simple. Some complained in Maryam’s comments that you need to spend a lot on geeky electronics to make them happy. Nope. They’ve usually bought them already, you’re in the clear. Instead, opt for a t-shirt that only they and their geeky friends will understand…they’ll be showing it off at the office and it will be the talk of msn, skype, and their blog.
Now that’s love.
